Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Katie Keim is responsible for the financial integrity of the organization as senior vice president and chief financial officer for Memorial Health System. Keim collaborates with operations to ensure the organization’s current and long-term financial stability and success. She is responsible for an integrated finance division that includes corporate finance, tax, revenue cycle, decision support, treasury and debt management, budgeting, financial planning and more. She joined Memorial in 2005, serving as treasury analyst, accounting manager, director of finance and vice president of finance before assuming her current role. Prior to joining Memorial Health System, Keim was a staff auditor at Kerber, Eck & Braeckel, LLP.
She earned her master of accounting science and bachelor of science in accountancy degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, graduating with the highest honors and receiving Bronze Tablet recognition (top three percent of college). Keim is a certified public accountant. She is a Fellow of the McMahon-Illini Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In 2018, Keim was named a “Forty Under Forty” recipient by the Springfield Business Journal.
